Here is a list of our stays while in the Northern Territory – 2019. Once we left Darwin we made our way down the centre of Australia. Further down the page is a list of our 2018 travels which may also be of help.

2019 – NORTHERN TERRITORY

Victoria River Roadhouse – 2A with power and water $30 per night – No telephone or TV reception

Manbulloo Homestead – Katherine – 2A power and water $36 – per night – phone coverage but limited TV reception.

Lee and Jenny’s Bushcamp – Daly River – 2A power and water $25 – per night – Telstra coverage but no TV reception.

Big 4 Howard Springs – Darwin – 2A power and water $39.60 per night includes discount as a Big 4 member.

Dunmarra Wayside Inn – 2A power and water $29 per night – no phone or TV reception.

Devils Marbels Hotel – 2A power $32 per night – no phone or TV reception.

Alice Springs Big 4 – 2A power and water $36 per night (this was a deal stay 4 pay 3 with Big 4 membership discount) – excellent phone and TV reception.

2018 – NORTHERN TERRITORY

Big Horse Creek – Donation Camp – $3.30 per person per night.

Katherine – Shady Lane Tourist Park – 2A power and water $44 per night – only digital TV reception

Batchelor Holiday Park – 2A power and water $36 per night.

Jabiru – Kakadu National Park – 2A power and water $46 per night – phone and TV reception.

Pussy Cat Flats – 2A – At the time we visited it was $10 for a powered site and $25 per night. Phone coverage was OK and we could watch the ABC on TV.

Mataranka – Bitter Springs Cabin and Caravan Park – 2A power and water $31 per night. At the time we visited they had a special that if you stayed 3 nights you would receive a 10% discount.

Jalmurark – Elsey National Park – We didn’t stay here but this is well worth a mention. It’s a great donation camp.

Sir Charles Todd Memorial – Free Camp – This was a fabulous overnighter.

Barkly Homestead – 2A power and water $38 per night.
