North Coast Holiday Park – Corindi Beach
Situated 45 minutes North of Coffs Harbour this is an ideal place to chill out a little and enjoy the most beautiful scenery, well kept gardens and beautiful She Oaks. It’s a very relaxing place to park and does not seem too big or too small. Loads of room for caravans large or small, powered or un-powered sites, unsuited sites and off course grass areas.
The toilet and shower amenities are modern and very clean as is the laundry. There is a gorgeous camp kitchen with loads of facilities for those camping and wishing to cook in a larger area. Again very clean and tidy. It also has a couple of large wooden communal benches to sit at for eating and other camp activities and a couple of lounges for relaxing in and watching the large TV. Around the outside of the camp kitchen are some herb gardens filled with fresh basil, parsley, rosemary, celery, tomatoes, and a lemon tree. So nice to be able to cook with fresh food from the garden.
It’s a short walk to the beach and you can walk for miles. Or you may want to walk a little further and have lunch or a beverage at the local pub Amble Inn. There is also a little general store just outside of the camping area if you have forgotten that one ingredient required for your meal. Prices are generally higher in these places but then again these small businesses are there to serve us and also need to make a profit and when you just need that one item I am always happy I can get it.
Every evening the local Eastern Grey Kangaroos come in for happy hour and check out the visitors. Great to see.
