You can’t drive along the Leichhardt Highway without stopping at Moonie Crossroads. It has clean amenities, a wonderful range of Thomas Cook Boot & Clothing Co, and a fabulous bar, gallery and cafe restaurant with fresh food.
Monnie Crossroads Roadhouse
Moonie Crossroads Roadhouse which is owned by a family is a significant stopping point for many a weary traveller. Whether your a truckie, grey nomad, backpacker, tourist from another country, or worker, this is such a delightful stop. The Moonie Crossroads facilities include a Puma fuel station, Restaurant, Motel, Caravan Park licensed Hotel and even a Bottle Shop.
Caravanners
There are 20 large powered and un-powered caravan sites and shower and toilet facilities are available. We stopped here for lunch and had we stayed overnight we certainly would have enjoyed a drink and a meal at the restaurant/bar.
