After much discussion together and with other travellers we decided to stay at the Big 4 in Howard Springs, Darwin. As its August (2019) the rates have just dropped by 10% and also we receive another discount being Big 4 members.
Anyway here we are. The park is very large, something we also have not been used to for sometime. Luckily we have a site where we are not on top of our neighbor. Thatโs a good thing. The park has loads of treesย ๐ณ๐ด๐ณ๐ดย and there are some green grassed sites.
Itโs about a 25kms from the city of Darwin, but just get on the main highway and your there in no time. Around the area of the caravan park are quite a few large shopping centres, Coolalinga, Palmerston and Gateway all around 10 to 15 minutesโ drive from the park. Or you can take a 30 minute drive to the largest shopping centre in the Northern Territory Casuarina.
The park has:
๐Grassed and slab sites โ powered and unpowered๐
๐TV/Telstra reception๐ฑ
๐BBQโs galore๐ฅฉ
๐Camp kitchen๐ฝ
๐Water/splash park๐ฆ
๐Swimming pools๐โโ๏ธ

๐Kids Playgroundโน๏ธโโ๏ธ๐คพโโ๏ธ

Our site was $39.60 per night for 2A (adults) with power and water โ also includes our discount as a GโDay Rewards (Big4) member.
