Coominglah Range, Lawgi Hertiage Park and Lawgi Hall – Qld

We checked out a few free and donation camps on our drive along the Burnett Highway between Monto and Biloela and here they are.

Coominglah Range Campsite

You can find this on Wikicamps but note that there are two entrances.

📍Free camp, 📍Flushing toilets, 📍Fire pits and BBQ’s, 📍Pet friendly, 📍Telstra reception

If you feel energetic you can take a 11km walk or 4WD out to Hurdle Gulley Lookout.

Lawgi Heritage Park

📍A great 48Hr donation camp. 📍Plenty of nice flat spaces to park. 📍There is a museum of old tools and machinery on site and Jack the owner is more than happy to show you through. 📍There are toilets and showers also available.

Lawgi Hall

Just a little further north is Lawgi Community Hall. The first thing you will notice is the exterior of the hall which has been painted with Bottle Trees against a multi-coloured sky. 📍It is a noted as a FREE camp but donations are welcome. 📍Toilets, 📍camp kitchen, 📍bins, 📍pet friendly, 📍Telstra reception. Seems like quite a bit of room available for all types of rigs.
