Coffin Bay National Park – SA

Are you heading to South Australia.? Then check out what Coffin Bay has to offer.

The beaches in the Coffin Bay National Park are something else. Such blue clear water and weathered limestone cliffs. We took a drive on sealed roads to Point Avoid, Almonta Beach and Yangie Bay. The park has around 20 kilometres of sealed roads with spectacular island views along the way and a lot more tracks for 4WD vehicles.

At the southern end of the park is Yangie Bay, accessible by 2WD. It’s an ideal place to paddle your canoe, enjoy a bush picnic or explore a coastal bushwalking trail. Yangie Bay has a great camping area for caravanners and other campers and is the most accessible and sheltered campsite on the Eyre Peninsula. It’s has a tranquil bushland setting overlooking the bay.

This is a National Park and you are required to pay the park entry fees – $10 per vehicle or $8 for Concession Card Holders. Campers only need to purchase one entry fee.

All sites for caravans and campers are $12 per night.
