Avocado Chocolate Mousse

This is one of favourite deserts and sooooo easy to make. We travel with a very simple little blender which we purchased for $20 a few years back. It’s still going strong and also makes some wicked smoothies.

Ingredients

1 x Ripe Avocado

1 tbs of Cacao

1 tbs Maple Syrup

1 tsp vanilla essence

1 tsp peppermint essence

2  Strawberries or other fruit

Shredded coconut for garnish.

Water or if you like some Almond milk to make the consistency a little wet.

This was a super large Avocado which I only used a quarter of it for the Chocolate Mousse

Peel the avocado chop it up and place in blender along with the cacao, maple syrup, vanilla essence, peppermint essence and water or milk. Check the consistency and if you want it to be a little wetter then ad some more of the wet ingredients.

Pour into glasses or ramekins.

Then garnish with strawberries or blueberries and sprinkle with desiccated coconut and place in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy. So easy.
